Macromedia Dreamweaver

Dreamweaver Level 1

Overview:  This course is designed to teach users the basics of the Macromedia Dreamweaver MX Web development sites.  The course is entirely 'hands on', so those attending will get practice in identifying the basic issues concerning proper site design, and navigating in the Dreamweaver work environment. The student will define a site in Dreamweaver and maintain Web pages, use the Site Panel to manage files and folders, insert images, set properties, and create and format tables.  After completing this course, students will be able to create Web sites that include frame-based pages, tables, graphics, and links.

Course Duration:  2-day (9am - 5pm) each day

Prerequisites:  To ensure your success, you must have a basic understanding of your computer's operating system. For example, you should know how to launch an application, create and save files, and copy files from CDs and other media.

Dreamweaver Level 2

Overview:  This course is designed to introduce students to the advanced concepts of the Dreamweaver MX Web development application.  In this course, learners will expand on the knowledge they gained in the Dreamweaver ML Introduction.  Students will work with advanced Web site creating features available in Dreamweaver, including libraries and behaviors. In addition, the student will use many of the new features available within the HTML 4 standard including style sheets and layers.

Course Duration: 2-day (9am - 5pm) each day
